President Donald Trump on Thursday told an adoring and boisterous crowd to vote like he was on the ballot.
Trump launched what is expected to be a month-long campaign blitz in Oklahoma in hopes of energizing Republicans going into the midterms.
“We do great when I’m on the ballot,” Trump told thousands packed into the Choctaw Event Center, which is located about 2.5 hours southeast of Oklahoma City.

Nearly a dozen state lawmakers heard from operators, developers, environmental agencies, local elected officials and concerned Oklahomans Tuesday as they weigh the best way to regulate the rapidly changing data center industry.

Amid the largest single-year decline in decades for Oklahoma public school enrollment, the state’s largest district announced the potential closure of 17 schools as it grapples with a long-term trend of decreases.
